NSC Creative is an award-winning studio specialising in immersive experiences for XR, domes, science centres and theme parks. We offer a full production service for bespoke, original, high-end content with the wow factor guaranteed.

We have been doing this since the year 2000 giving us an immense amount of experience in developing our creative and technical skills to constantly exceed audience expectations.

We are a world leader in 360° digital planetarium fulldome production, with shows licensed to over 1000 venues across 70 countries in 25 languages.

We are a pioneer of spatial storytelling using emerging XR technologies to connect participants to our narratives in innovative and exciting new ways with XR experiences in the biggest international festivals such as SXSW, Tribeca, Sundance.

NSC Creative is owned by and based at the National Space Centre, the UK’s #1 space based visitor attraction with over 330k visitors a year, situated in Space City, Leicester, UK.

We have onsite access to the Sir Patrick Moore Planetarium, the UK’s largest digital dome (18m) and a 3m Stereoscopic 3D test dome facility. Our onsite hybrid CPU/GPU render farm, high-speed storage and networks ensure all projects can meet the heavy technical requirements of immersive media production.

We are an R&D focused studio, always embracing the latest technologies and techniques to enable our stories to realise their full potential.

DOING OUR BIT

In 2021 we launched the NSC Immersive Academy. This complements the National Space Centre’s mission to enhance the science and engineering skills pool in the UK currently spearheaded by the National Space Academy, by highlighting new STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths) career pathways.

An innovative set of programs create formal and informal pathways for young people to enter the creative industries and explore the latest immersive technologies and storytelling techniques with input from the industry veterans of NSC Creative and our 20+ years experience.

The current focus is on a partnership with Leicester College to co-deliver a BTEC Level 3 qualification in Immersive Design & Development.
